How do I schedule and pay for my consult?
To schedule your online consult, select an available time from our live calendar. Consults are paid for at the time of scheduling and can be rescheduled or canceled up to 48 hours before your appointment.
What if I have to cancel my consultation?
You can cancel your appointment via your confirmation email from the Goldenberg GI Center. There will be a link to cancel your appointment at the bottom of the email. Because Dr. Goldenberg has a very busy work schedule, we require that you cancel or reschedule your appointment 48 hours in advance. Refunds will not be available if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice. If your cancelation is due to extenuating circumstances, please let us know as soon as possible and we may be able to work with you. We do understand that unexpected life events come up. If you are eligible for a refund please email the office administrator ali@goldenberggicenter.com in order to receive one.
What can I expect from an Educational Consult?
In your educational consult Dr. Goldenberg will function as an educator rather than a medical provider. He won’t be able to diagnose, treat, or prescribe for you, and he will not be functioning as your personal doctor. But instead he will go over your case with you from an educational standpoint, teaching you about what could be done for a patient in a similar scenario and providing you with the information you need to obtain medical care, supplements, and testing from other providers. These consults should be considered educational in nature only, and do not substitute for proper medical care. Anything discussed during these consults should first be reviewed by your medical team and implemented only if deemed safe and appropriate.
Can Dr. Goldenberg be my Doctor?
If you physically reside in the state of Colorado, Dr. Goldenberg can be your Naturopathic Doctor. Just call us at 719-377-6609 to schedule your first office visit. You can learn more about the clinic and our services at here.
How does the consult work and what do I need to do?
After scheduling your consult, you will be prompted to pay for your appointment. Please do so as your appointment will not be booked without payment. After your appointment is secured, you will be sent an email confirming your appointment. The email will also provide you with a link to join our virtual waiting room on the day of the appointment, as well as a disclosure form we will need you to sign and send back to us via email before your appointment. When you follow the link to our online video service you’ll be prompted to enter your name which will add you to our virtual waiting room. Stand by, and as soon as Dr. Goldenberg is ready, he will start your video appointment. Please check in a few minutes prior to your appointment and please be patient with us as we transition between appointments. Should we have issues reaching you via our video service, we will call you on the phone, so please provide us with the best number to reach you at upon scheduling your appointment. If you do not have a computer or camera for video chats, we can consult via phone.
Can I contact Dr. Goldenberg between appointments for additional guidance or urgent questions or concerns?
Though we care for all of our clients at The Goldenberg GI Center, we are a busy clinic offering appointments only on Fridays. We are not equipped to handle or respond to urgent concerns or emergencies. If you are experiencing an urgent need, please contact your medical provider or go to urgent care, the emergency room, or call 911 as appropriate. You are welcome to ask clarifying questions via email at drg@goldenberggicenter.com regarding information provided at your consult, however any extensive or new questions will require you to schedule an additional consult. We suggest you schedule recurring consults in advance if you feel as though you may have additional questions, as Dr. Goldenberg’s schedule can fill up quickly.
Can I record Online Consultations with Dr. Goldenberg?
No, please do not record online consultations with Dr. Goldenberg. We understand that a lot of information is disseminated during a consultation and that it can be overwhelming to attempt to remember everything. Dr. Goldenberg takes extensive notes during each consultation and, if appropriate, will often send a summary and/or relevant links after the appointment via the email you provide. It is also helpful to take your own notes during consultations.
